Taking a break from her "Gossip Girl" filming duties to promote her new movie, Leighton Meester turned up at the Toronto International Film Festival on Saturday night (September 10).
The 25-year-old actress took to the north of the border locale as she attended the red carpet premiere of her romantic dramedy "The Oranges" alongside co-stars Allison Janney, Hugh Laurie, Alia Shawkat and Oliver Platt.
Directed by Julian Farino, the film tells the tale of "a guy falling for the daughter of a family friend, which makes life just a bit awkward for himself and the family."
Quite the busy lady these days, the trip to TIFF comes just after Miss Meester performed with her band Cobra Starship as part of Thursday's "Fashion Night Out" in NYC.
Talking about her musical efforts with E!, Leighton dished, ?I?m inspired by my friends, my family, love, loss of love, fashion, art, traveling, sex, food?everything!"
?If it were up to me, I?d release it today,? she added. ?I do want to continue to perform and let people hear it. I do wanna play other places but until my show is done for the season, I can?t.?
